MEDICAL INTERPRETER
I have held certification through the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters since 2011, when the credential was first introduced. In order to maintain this CoreCHI credential, I regularly attend continuing education events related to healthcare terminology, memory skills, consecutive interpretation practice, sight translation, and other topics essential to professional development as a healthcare interpreter.
I adhere to the Healthcare Interpreter Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. ESCORT INTERPRETER
I first began working as an escort interpreter at the Australian Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro in 1982. Since then, my assignments have included meetings and visits involving government officials, politicians, business people, and academics. My all-time favorite assignment was interpreting for the Australian delegation at the Earth Summit in Rio in 1992.

that he ends up writing the book he is reading, word for word."
